but it’s hard. living in an expensive city while having expensive taste is… expensive. not to mention, squeezing into a cozy 800 sq ft apartment while W’nFH with your beloved fiancé can make it extra challenging to declare that ahh haaa feeling in your space after a long day glued to the screen.

so i’m on a mission change that, and make it possible to attain that restoration hardware vibe straight from your living room, or whip up a Jean-Georges-worthy plated masterpiece in a kitchen that your building hilariously considers "renovated," despite its obvious 19th-century origins.

since my adventurous leap into the whirlwind of new york city back in 2012, I embarked on an unwavering quest to elevate the elements in my life that deeply influence my mood. with my family residing in the dreamy coastal town of santa barbara, california, a seamless coast-to-coast mood-filled experience unfolded. this journey unraveled my passion for crafting warm home decor and savoring delectable cuisine (with a dash of cocktails, naturally). this realization to express emotion through uncovered passion has allowed me to embrace a journey fueled by the pursuit of joy and inspiration.

i invite you to view my page as not only a source of inspiration but also as the centerpiece to cultivate, push boundaries, and embrace ownership of your mood.

make intentional choices, understand the reasons behind them, explore how they can bring you comfort and joy. above all, prioritize your mood as the core reason for your happiness and overall well-being. Remember, whether you choose to embrace something or let it go, ensure that it aligns with nurturing your emotional state and cultivating a fulfilling life.

  • growing up, my parents created a captivating and comforting atmosphere in our home. with my dad as an architect and my mom's keen eye for detail, they joined forces to design our house from the ground up. seeing it come to life at a young age taught me that a home should not only be visually appealing but also evoke a deep sense of contentment. it instilled in me the understanding that a well-crafted home has the ability to nourish our spirits and make us feel truly at ease.

  • Less is more, and it's not just a cliché. I used to believe that filling a space showcased my personality, but I discovered the reverse is true. The secret sauce is underestimating the quantity. Embrace simplicity, and let your true character shine through in carefully curated choices.

  • to create a portfolio showcasing all the elements in my life that brighten my mood — which I hope in return will do the same for you!
